How To Cook
Cooking unpolished Browntop is easy and similar to cooking rice:
- Rinse the (Millet name) under cold water for 2-3 times to remove any debris.
- Soak the millet in water for 6-8 hours/overnight. (for Browntop mention 8-10 hours)
- Drain the water completely and wash the millet thoroughly.
- Spread it on muslin/cotton cloth and let it dry completely.
- Combine 1 cup of rinsed (millet name) with 2 cups of water in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the millet is tender and the water is absorbed.
- Fluff with a fork and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
